for all the wrong reasons, obviously. and he gets the royal /. ass-whooping, rightly deserved.

please understand that we are not all complete idiots as you might be led to believe after reading mr. balsemão's stupid tirade.

a take from perhaps the first portuguese online journalist is available here, for the time being only in portuguese.

(as a side note, i'd give my right arm if mr. balsemão's paid online newspaper doesn't have a hole to let the googlebot and others in)

Expresso has free content online. I think what google gets from it is that free content. The "weekend" newspaper content i think doesn't show up on google.

Well, with the blog boom in which people start to produce their own news content and in this country where journalism isn't anything more than copying news feeds, and adapt them and print it on paper (or laying it out on a web page), where investigation and true journalism is rare, I can see where they're going, although by saying stuff like that, it shows that they don't. These copyright holders screw their own costumers, pretty stupid, no?
